  • My research has mainly focused on Hellenistic poetry and culture, exploring and detailing the typology of the aetiological discourses found in the poems of both Callimachus and Apollonius Rhodius, studying the rich modalities of Callimachus's humor in his Hymns and recently worked on Theocritus’15th Idyll. Following A. S. F Gow in 1952, my PHD thesis presents a new edition of the 15th Idyll. The text is accompanied by an original translation and an extensive commentary. It reveals a deep interest in intertextuality and interdisciplinary approaches to texts, metrics, and lexicography, but also in gendered voices and gaze, ethnicity, and identity. Recently published articles and communications include more topics of interest, such as intervisuality, emotions, animality, and material studies. I am currently exploring the voices in nature / of nature in Moero of Byzantium's epigrams.
